I was born in Prague into a musician family. From an early age, I had learned musical theory and classical piano. Additionally, I acquired complex audiovisual tech education. I get inspired by all forms of art, nature and science.
I love taming and bringing out the best of sounds of the inanimate, the living and the musical. With that I aim to highlight visuals, animation and story. I aim to expand my horizon, train my ears and help realize creative visions.
I’ve worked with video game audio, adaptive music as well as linear audio production and post-production. I’ve worked with Unity engine, FMOD studio (middleware) and I look forward to adding more to that.
My studio is based in the vibrant city of Ostrava, where I’m constantly improving an acoustically reliable environment. It is treated and equipped with a full range of musical instruments, toys and audio equipment. And I do include my ears. 😉
Some of my tools are MIDI controllers, percussions, a bass guitar and an ensemble of virtual toys ranging from the most obscure synths to classical musical instruments. I work mainly in Reaper (DAW). Utilized software includes Fabfilter, Izotope, Waves, Valhalla, Native Instruments, Soundtheory etc.
My equipment encompasses studio monitors Kali Audio LP-6, subwoofer Kali Audio WS-12, audio interface Steinberg UR242, reference headphones Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO, Sennheiser HD 600, Sennheiser HD 25, acoustic treatment + calibration Sonarworks Reference 4.
